PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Fresenius Medical Care Section Meeting & Tour

SPE International
Council Meeting

We had a great attendance for the Section meeting at Fresenius Medical Care in Ogden in September.  We really appreciate the effort of Dan Jensen and his group to host such a great Section meeting.
Join us again in Ogden on November 20th for the next Section meeting and plant tour at
Autoliv.  The plant tour will include both the molding and airbag assembly facilities and an airbag deployment demonstration.  We hope to see you in attendance.
Thanks for your interest in a future golf tournament.   We are considering scheduling one during  August or September 2003. If you are available to help as a volunteer please give me a call.
Best wishes for a safe Holiday season.

We would like to thank Dan Jensen and his group for a great tour of Fresenius Medical Care. Fresenius has expanded and improved their molding operations since our last visit four years ago.
Dan and his group gave a superb presentation covering technical information and cost justifications regarding the use of electric molding machines and robots in the medical industry.
